Going to horse racing events in Australia is meant to be a classy endeavour, but it always attracts plenty of outlandish and farfetched fashion choices.

Let’s take a look at the daring fashions on the field this year, shall we?

Twitter’s India chief Rishi Jaitly is leaving the company. Quite aptly, he announced his move via a series of tweets.

Jaitly, who joined Twitter in 2012, will be leaving the company late November, a Twitter India spokesperson told Mashable India. During his four-year stay at the firm, Jaitly spearheaded Twitter’s India operations, helping the company expand in the country. Last August, he was appointed as Vice President of Media for Asia Pacific & Middle East North Africa at Twitter. The company hasn’t announced who will replace Jaitly.

Today, after 4 years of user/business momentum in India & the region, I’m sharing my intention to move on to new opportunities, same mission

Basketball fans noticed a strange presence on the Los Angeles Clippers’ bench during Monday night’s game against the Phoenix Suns.

Yes, that’s Paul Pierce, who currently plays for the Clippers — wearing a Rick James Halloween costume while the game is going on.

Pierce has an ankle injury, so it’s not like he was just taking the night off. The 39-year-old is also in the last year of his NBA career, which probably accounts for his relaxed attitude.

Viewers were delighted and confused by what they saw. Of course, someone made the requisite Chappelle’s Show joke.  Read more…
